Civil Technology
Introduction
A Civil Technology diploma program at SIT WAH is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of the principles and practices of Civil engineering. The program will cover topics such as construction materials, structural analysis, building codes, and project management.
The curriculum of a Civil Technology diploma program will include both theoretical coursework and practical laboratory sessions. Students will learn about the various components and systems used in Civil engineering, as well as their design, construction, and maintenance.
The program will also cover safety procedures and regulations related to civil engineering projects. Students will learn about codes and standards related to building construction, as well as best practices for project management and quality assurance.
In addition to classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through laboratory sessions and real-world projects. The institute have well-equipped laboratories with modern testing and measurement equipment, as well as simulation software for design and analysis of civil engineering systems.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions in the field of civil engineering, such as civil engineering technician, construction inspector, or project manager. They will work in a variety of settings, such as construction sites, government agencies, or consulting firms.
