Electrical Technology
Introduction
An electrical technology diploma program at an SIT WAH is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of electrical systems and technology. The program will cover topics such as circuit analysis, electronics, power systems, and control systems. The curriculum of an electrical technology diploma program will include both theoretical coursework and practical laboratory sessions. Students will learn about the various components and systems used in electrical technology, as well as their operation, installation, and maintenance.
The program will also cover safety procedures and regulations related to electrical systems and equipment. Students will learn about codes and standards related to electrical technology, as well as best practices for installation and maintenance.
In addition to classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through laboratory sessions and real-world projects. The institute have well-equipped laboratories with modern electrical testing and measurement equipment, as well as simulation software for design and analysis of electrical systems.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared for entry-level positions in the field of electrical technology, such as electrical technician, electrician, or electrical system installer. They will work in a variety of settings, such as residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
